Tilting Skillets

An electric/gas tilt skillet is a powerful cooking unit and typically has a temperature range of 100 to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. The entire unit is constructed from durable stainless steel for easy cleanup and years of dependable service. Tilt skillets can also be called braising pans. Most models are available in open-leg and closed-base frame assemblies with manual or power tilt capabilities. The manual tilt option typically is operated by a hand crank. The optional power tilt operates smoothly, with manual override that works easily when needed. Both tilting methods allow complete emptying of contents under positive control.
