Char rock broilers can use several different type of materials to give that char rock flavor. Charcoal, lava rock, ceramic briquettes are you most common char rock products. With char rock broilers even cooking can be more of a challenge to radiant broilers. Typically lava rock & briquettes should be changed out at lease twice a year. These broilers are more prone to flame flare up. Make sure to season the grate before the first use by preheating the grate & them brushing them with oil. Make sure you also include a stand with casters, if a counter model is selected, and also chose the correct flexible gas hose for your appliance.
