No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Overall this is a good unit, however my plumber complained a lot about the way it mounts to the sink. I guess (I am by no means a plumber) it was designed to mount to the wall behind the sink. Which is not the best way to do it from my understanding. So in the end he spent a day trying to find new parts to be able to mount it directly to the sink.
So now that it's installed it's been pretty good overall but, if you ask my plumber he would say buy something else. Because my plumber did a great job overall on all my plumbing I would have to go with his point of view on this one and not recommend it.
