Chill-It pans, crocks and pitchers were developed to offer the best cold-holding solutions for keeping chilled foods cold and safe without the need for ice or electricity. Each Chill-It pan, crock and pitcher contains a non-toxic gel that when frozen at 0 degrees F (-18 C) for 8 hours, will keep refrigerated foods that are placed directly into the pan at or below 40 degrees F (4 C) for up to 8 hours, safeguarding food from time-temperature abuse. All Chill-It pans, crocks and lids are patented and constructed of durable, double-wall ABS plastic that is NSF Listed and dishwasher safe. Chill-It food pans offer maximum holding capacity and when used with Chill-It lids, the pans are stackable, reducing the amount of counter-top space and storage needed.
Green Chill-It food pans and crocks are made with a special non-toxic gel that is "salad safe" and will reduce the amount of "cold-shock wilting". After freezing green pan or crock for 8 hours, you simply put pan or crock through an initial "phase-change" so delicate foods will not freeze. Merely run the pan under hot tap water for 30 seconds to bring the pan temperature up to 32 degrees F (0 C) and then insert chilled produce.- Chill-It Beverage Pitcher has been engineered with the same non-toxic gel-core insulation technology as Chill-It Food Pans and Crocks.
