Griddles
Griddles can either be floormodel or counter model equipment. They consist of a flat metal plate made of steel, cast iron, or aluminum where the food is cooked.The large amount of space allows for numerous items to all be cooked simultaneously, while keeping all the foods seperated. Griddles are available in both a manual & thermostatically controlled units. Manual griddles are less expensive, but tend to have more hot spots than a thermostatically controlled griddle. The thermostatically controlled griddle allows for faster recovery time and more even heat distribution throughout the griddle surface. A thicker 1" griddle plate for higher production cooking such as a breakfast house, or restaurant which frys a large amount of burgers. Always make sure that your gridlle surface area allows for your volume for today & future growth. Make sure that you remember to order casters, & the correct flexible gas hose for your appliance.
